National Programme for Health Care of the Elderly (NPHCE) consists in providing exclusive care for the elderly for various geriatric problems. At present, provision of some dedicated beds for the elderly are being planned at the DH, Alipurduar. Physiotherapy unit has been strengthened in terms of human resource and equipments to provided care to the elderly.
