Janani Suraksha Yojna (JSY): This provides for Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 for Institutional Delivery and Home Deliveries respectively in rural areas to the pregnant mothers. In Urban areas the PWs undergoing ID get Rs. 900/- before discharge from the hospital. This is primarily to encourage institutional delivery, decrease maternal mortality and improve child health.
All SC, ST & BPL families, mother of 19 years or above age received 3 ANC & upto 2 live-birth.
SC/ST mother of APL category will not get Cash incentive for home delivery.
