Under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Abhiyan (PMSY) pregnant mothers are provided medical examination by Obstetricians, comprehensive investigations, including USG and bio-chemical/serological tests and free medications in secondary hospitals on the 9th of every month with an objective to identify high risk pregnancies and counsel accordingly for safe pregnancy and safe delivery.
